Huntsville Radio Service, Inc. (HRS) was established in 1946. We have been supporting Redstone Arsenal (Redstone) and its tenant commands as this Army installation has evolved and grown. HRS has been heavily involved with NASA since the 1960’s. HRS installed the communication system used on the barge that transported our space crafts and rockets through the waterways to various launch sites. HRS currently maintains the Trunking communication system used for Redstone which is managed by NASA.
HRS became a Motorola Federal (MR) Agent on August 1, 2006. This MR designation gives us the authority to act on behalf of Motorola to support and advise our customers who can purchase from the Motorola GSA Schedule. Companies must have the proper authority to purchase Motorola products on the GSA Schedule. With our past and present involvement supporting many of the tenants and contractors on Redstone Arsenal, HRS supports the end user with a historical knowledge and expertise that brings consulting, sales, service, installation and a valuable understanding to the tenants and contractors involved at Redstone Arsenal. David V. Brock is our highly respected and knowledgeable Technical Director. His 15 years of experience working in the communication shop at Redstone Arsenal give HRS valuable insight to the needs of Redstone Arsenal.

Huntsville Radio Service, Inc. has engineered and installed Security Cameras and Alarm Panels using a Canopy System for RSA IDS to monitor gates. HRS currently maintains the eleven (11) Warning Sirens on base. We have completed numerous subcontracts with RTC (Redstone Test Center), PMO (Provost Marshall Office), and US Army Aviation & Missile Command. HRS was instrumental in bringing NASA, U.S. Army and the RTC together in the expansion and build out to provide redundancy in the current trunking communication system.
In addition our existing customer base supports the state & local governments, manufacturing, industrial, and all segments of the commercial markets many of which have direct relations with various entities on Redstone Arsenal.
